Trossachs Community Hub
We are the Trossachs and Teith Community Sport & Social Hub [SCIO], a registered Scottish Charity [SC051580]
The organsiation has been formed for the benefit of the community of Callander and its surrounding villages, and we provide various activities to promote getting more physically active and strengthen our communities mental and physical wellbeing.
Through our Outdoor education program we provide free to cost weekly classes for children aged 2-5 years old through messy play and woodland education. These sessions are parent and child to encourage stronger family bonds
We support our local primary schools and High School with multisport opportunities in the form of lunchtime & after school clubs.
Through a partnership with FVDS, Active Stirling and CFV we offer free sessions to both Katrine and Trossachs House the autism provision units in our community, delivering activities such as Table Cricket and Boccia.
Our Rural Hubs are for the benefit of our rural villages, taking multi-sport opportunities to these communities in order to remove the geographical and transport issues.
Our ultimate aim is to acquire and install community facilities to help improve and increase access for all our residents to physical activity and enable us to support the smaller community groups and introduce our young people to new sports and activity.
We have community inclusion officers [Funded by The National Lottery Scotland] who deliver all of our programs.
We actively promote equality and diversity in everything we do and hope to remove barriers to ensure everyone can get involved.
